Rural Thursday Blog Hop # 10, Packing Peanuts

I put peanuts out for the birds this morning,
the squirrels never caught on and the birds got to eat all of them.

The Tufted Titmouse only takes one half.

The Blue Jay has one in the chamber and one in the beak.
He's such a pig!!

It's hard to tell just how tiny the Titmouse is,
but if your a bird lover you already know.

Here he scores one and a half before flying off.

The Catbirds were happy with only a half,

and this little youngin' just hadn't a clue...

So this is what's happening in my neck of the woods.
I'm sharing it with

Think about hoping in and hoping around!!

What a beautiful colored birds in your country. For the birds your garden is like a restaurant Debbie.

Fantastic shots, Debbie! The peanut looks too big for the Titmouse, but I'm sure it managed. Jays can be quite the food hogs. I'm surprised the squirrels didn't get them first.
