ooohhhh deer!!

If you follow my blog, you know that I love deer.
It started when I was a child and has remained with me all these years.
It was a beautiful day here in New Jersey,
we spent the afternoon outdoors and I could not have been happier.

We rode the bikes at Allaire State Park,
I was thrilled to see the deer out in the field early.

I was not able to get as close to them as I usually do,
the one on the right looks like she may be expecting.

There were about 20 deer out,

and I took about 50 pictures,
these were the best of the bunch!!

After we finished riding, we stopped at my favorite farm,
to say hi to my favorite horses!!

Well it looks like you are close to this as well - to be able to ride a bike to see this is awesome.

Great shots of the deer! They normally aren't out except early morning or late in the evening. I'm glad you had the opportunity to photograph them!

These are wonderful! While I enjoy the dear I must admit...I am in love with that horse. I just love the coloring. Glad you got out to ride!

It's surprising those deer would stand there and allow themselves to be that exposed, but I guess they heard you were coming with your love-camera.

Gorgeous pictures. You must have had a beautiful day outdoors. Our weather is yucky even though I did manage to work in the yard before all the rain fall.

I am having trouble viewing your photos (as well as everyone else's!!!!) I can see only about half of them....I will comment soon when I get this fixed. I'm just hopeful it CAN be fixed! Can't be buying a new computer right now!

Just love 'em :) That was my first thought when I saw how big her belly was. You'll have to watch out for fawns :)
